Wedding Fair

It was a pleasure to showcase The Village Baker at the beautiful Burnham Beeches Hotel Wedding Fair, surrounded by the elegant setting of this much-loved wedding venue. I brought along a selection of ideas to inspire couples, including a timeless 6-inch classic wedding cake, a delicate floral table runner and, as the centrepiece of my display, a show-stopping bouquet of 100 cupcakes.

Designed to combine beautiful presentation with delicious individual treats, the cupcake bouquet proved a wonderful way to demonstrate how wedding cakes can be both elegant and completely bespoke. Guests were also invited to sample two of my signature flavours: a rich and indulgent chocolate cake layered with silky chocolate ganache, and a refined pistachio cake paired with pistachio cream cheese frosting, rose and raspberry jam.

It was a wonderful opportunity to meet couples planning their special day, talk through their ideas and share how The Village Baker can create beautifully crafted cakes and sweet treats that are as memorable as the occasion itself.
